Deroni is the name of an ancient Thracian tribe. It inhabited the lands in the southern part of Bulgaria in the 6th - 5th centuries BC. It is known that the Deroni tribe cut the first coins in our lands in the 6th - 5th century BC in a nominal Decadrachms with a weight of about 40 grams. The inscription ΔΕΡΡΟΝΙΚΟΝ has been engraved on the coins. On one side of the coin is depicted a sign made up of three human legs of the god Silenus, ending with horse's hooves called Triskele. It symbolizes the movement, development and stability. Today, the Triskele is the Deroni company’s official logo.
